31 Right Wingers Voted No On The Sandy Bill, Because They Didn't Get Their Pork

The list of people in the OP are the right wingers that tried to get to bill loaded with pork, but were refused.
Teabagger rep King was one of the ones that was leading the charge getting a nice handout and Christie was as well.

Do you have a link that includes pork added by your socialist brethren?

See ya in 2 hours, asshole.

It's right there in the link, you inbred stalker piece of shit. I know you are obsessed with me, but at least keep it off the board. You don't want to expose yourself to the whole forum , like you love to do to strangers on sunday afternoons in the park when you put on your makeup and high heels to become "Edna".

You need to read your own link again...NOWHERE does it state anything about the Republicans adding PORK. Show me.................

You are quite amusing. Never change.

See you in 35 minutes.

There was a bunch of PORK in the bill, and the republicans wanted it cleaned up. But ya....keep blaming the republicans! I'm sure it's just A-Ok with you to let them squander our tax money on other shit we don't need. Why couldn't they just come up with a clean bill to help the victims? Because they're DEMOCRATS!

Two thirds of this spending is not remotely “emergency”; the Congressional Budget Office estimates that only 30% of the authorized funds would be spent in the next 20 months, and over a billion dollars will be spent as late as 2021.

This bill is symptomatic of a larger problem in Washington – an addiction to spending money we do not have. The United States Senate should not be in the business of exploiting victims of natural disasters to fund pork projects that further expand our debt.

Ted Cruz: 70% of Hurricane Sandy aid is pork that won't help victims - National Republican | Examiner.com

Rubio, Paul, Ayotte, and 28 other GOP/teabaggers that tried to load the bill with pork are democrats?
Why are you calling disaster relief for Republican states "pork" when it's to help with a disaster? There are fires, floods, killing snowstorms, etc. in places other than hurricane-hit zones. The only difference is the mainstream media is only interested in publicizing disasters in Democrat areas, and not in small areas that are hit equally as hard if not harder.

That list he put up is just a list of the Republicans had "requested" aid for their own states at one time or another. He's trying to make it look like they're hypocrites, when at his own link it doesn't say a word about any kind of pork put in the bill by Republicans. It's the Dems that did, that's why the Rep's voted it down before!

The right wing idiots requested the pork, even though they were pretending to be against it. They only voted no because they where denied.
It's called right wing hypocrisy.

Okay, finally found it. The extra unnecessary 33.7bil in spending was added by Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-N.J.)

That's all you had to say Black_Label, this is the info I was looking for. Not that hack hit piece you linked in the OP.

ok, old tea

A lot of them want relief for those people without all the pork. Most bills contain way more pork than actual help for whatever/whoever the bill is named for.

Sometimes, it's what is hidden in the bills that make them bad. Back to the drawing board and some can take out the crap they added and maybe it'll pass.

Now this is downright hysterical. 31 right wingers in congress voted no on the recent hurricane Sandy bill, because they didn't get the pork they wanted.

The "less spending!" GOP/teabaggers had their hands reached out and mouths open wide asking for more pork barreled spending for themselves, but when it was refused, they threw a tantrum and voted nay on the hurricane bill.

What a bunch of idiots the GOP are.

"The “hypocritical” list includes:

1. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH): Requested disaster aid after Hurricane Sandy.
2. John Barrasso (R-WY), Republican Policy Committee Chair: Requested disaster aid after flooding.

During his time in the Senate, he has fought tirelessly to ensure that Missouri gets its fair share of those federal resources specifically dedicated to disaster recovery.”
4. John Boozman (R-AR): Requested disaster aid after snow storms in January 2013.
5. Richard Burr (R-NC): Requested disaster aid after severe storms.
6. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA): Requested disaster aid after flooding.

31 Senate Republicans Opposed Sandy Relief After Supporting Disaster Aid For Home States | ThinkProgress

You are such a dishonest piece of shit.

They opposed it because of the pork, You know the pork your fucking hero Dems attached to a Relief bill?

Notice how he purposely (and conveniently) left out the word "unrelated" pork spending from his post. You know, tacking on spending that has absolutely nothing to do with disaster relief in the first place. This thread is a waste of time when the poster doesn't know what REAL pork spending is. Perhaps someone needs to help him figure that one out.

Probably not since he is a lying libtard.

I see, whenever the GOP wants pork, it's not pork. :cuckoo:

simple straight bills are nice.. some I read are 200 pages or more, sometime they hide it so well both sides..:eusa_shhh: And change other laws that allow even more money wasted. As you need a study to see where the dots go..
