I'd actually prefer it if you didn't, Lefty. Or if you did, just make very clear where the spoilers, etc. begin. I've ruined too many movies and shows for myself by reading spoilers ahead of time, and I don't wanna do it this time.

BTW, your avatar rules! Walter is John Goodman's greatest role, in my opinion. "You want a toe? I'll get you a toe. Hell, I can get you a toe by five o'clock, with polish!"

I actually saw a shirt one time that said "I'll get you a toe" with a picture of Walter on it one time, it was pretty cool, I wish I would've gotten it. I tried Googling for a pic of it, but all I'm getting is creepy foot porn, so I guess you'll have to take my word for it.

Well, that's the airport that was in the show, but I'm assuming it was meant to be in L.A.? There's no way Jack could've made it from Ontario to L.A. by car in ten minutes. I'm assuming they used Ontario squad cars and were just planning on not showing the 'Ontario' on the side of the car.

another good one:

Whereas what we have here? A bunch of fig-eaters wearing towels on their heads, trying to find reverse in a Soviet tank. This is not a worthy adversary. Walter Sobchak

--------

even better:

The Dude: Walter, ya know, it's Smokey, so his toe slipped over the line a little, big deal. It's just a game, man.

Walter Sobchak: Dude, this is a league game, this determines who enters the next round robin. Am I wrong? Am I wrong?

Smokey: Yeah, but I wasn't over. Gimme the marker Dude, I'm marking it 8.

Walter Sobchak: [pulls out a gun] Smokey, my friend, you are entering a world of pain.

The Dude: Walter...

Walter Sobchak: You mark that frame an 8, and you're entering a world of pain.

Smokey: I'm not...

Walter Sobchak: A world of pain.

Smokey: Dude, he's your partner...

Walter Sobchak: [shouting] Has the whole world gone crazy? Am I the only one around here who gives a shit about the rules? Mark it zero!

The Dude: They're calling the cops, put the piece away.

Walter Sobchak: Mark it zero!
[points gun in Smokey's face]

The Dude: Walter...

Walter Sobchak: [shouting] You think I'm fucking around here? Mark it zero!

Smokey: All right, it's fucking zero. Are you happy, you crazy fuck?

Walter Sobchak: ...It's a league game, Smokey.

as far as the "spoliers" i won't post them although i must say the contradict each other. fuck it i'll say what was said (reading it again it is really not really a spoiler anyway) one person said did palmer fake his own death and the Kristin lady who runs the chats thought he might be faking because of the non scars on his hands BUT then in the next question has haysbert complaining while promoting his NEW show about plamer being killed off so go figure. there was also some info on tonights show but we've all seen the show tonight so it wasn't new. the chat took place earlier today but i only read it after the transcript was posted and that was after 24 aired.

Ah, that would certainly be an interesting twist. But, we did see him get shot as well as the shooter on the roof of the building across the street, so he probably wasn't in on it, no? Also, if he were going to fake his own death, you'd think he would do it in a more public place, not just in front of his brother.

Oh, God, I could quote The Big Lebowski from beginning to end, all day long. My favorite Walter scene is probably the "ringer".

"You didn't think I was rolling outta here naked, did ya?"

I'm not really big on goofy car slapstick stuff, but that scene and the scene where Dude wrecks into the dumpster crack me up every time.

And, of course...

"This is what happens when you f*ck a stranger in the ass!"

and....

"This guy can walk. I've never been more sure of anything in my life."

And just about anything John Goodman says in that movie.

My first season watching. I was alittle skeptical to start watching being as ive never watched any of the previous 4 even though i always wanted to. Now i have Tivo (the gift from the gods) and can watch it properly. I definitely have to go out and rent those 24 seasons on DVD (or borrow them from a friend).

I'm digging Rudy as the shake it up guy. Dont really no where hes sitting right now. He could be a bad guy later on. they seemed to have revealed the obvious plot twist that the audience expects early. They must have something huge later on. I gather from the exchange between the blonde chick and jack that she was his woman before (a duh statement im sure to all veterans of the show).

Great f'n show. I only wished i'd started 4 years ago when i saw the preview on Fox and said "hey thats completely different from a sitcom, i should watch." But i had no time and no Tivo (gift from the gods). Can't wait for the rest of the season. 18 hours to go.

Watch season 4 on DVD like I did. Amazing. A terrorist plot that's a distraction for another plot which a mask for another scheme and on and on. So many amazing turns you'll never predict what happens next. Bonus for that season earning the ire of the PC Police by having Islamic terrorists.

with the nerve gas i think it was just a bit that leaked over time. the fact that the nerve gas was headed for russia means that there must be another threat for the states either that or ctu is going international! i want to see a throw down, bra pulling, hair pulling, biting jello wrestling chick fight between audrey and jacks new lady. sounds good doesn't it:D the mole for once thought he was doing the right thing which is an interesting take on it. this episode seems like it was a set up episode of whats to come so it shall be interesting!

I have to agree. I was watching with a friend and we were saying after 47 minutes or so, 'this was a bit slow, compared to the first two,' then wham, last 10 minutes! No doubt, when Jack or Chloe aren't on, it moves slower. I like Curtis, More time for Curtis! Tony too of course, I hope he comes out of the coma soon!

The name of the Airport is Ontario. It's in LA. So airport police at Ontario airport, in LA, would say Ontario on the side, but have Cali plates.

You got there first. I was going to inform people that there is an Ontario Airport in LA that has their own police squad....

Excellent show, unfortunately the plots within plots thing will get old and they need to return to the old fashioned hard to get terrorist plot. The airport scene went too quickly and now the First Lady has 'escaped' from the President?

Oh, OK, I gotcha. Figures in L.A., you'd need an entire police force for an airport.
I think most major airports have their own police, but I might be mistaken.

Edgar is fun. I would love to see Milo come back, too.
