24 returning to Fox tv network

This makes me happy. One of the few network shows I actually liked.

I enjoyed the the first 3 seasons of 24 for the most part, although some parts were simply too ridiculous.

But it just got more repetitive and ridiculous as the seasons went on, to the point where I found it unwatchable.

24 started off great. I remember being thrilled by the first season. It very clearly went downhill from there, though.

It remained watchable throughout, but only barely. It was the same old, same old. In a lot of ways the supposed 'real time' part of it was very limiting; you know it's going to be about a single 24 hour period, there's going to be some kind of terrorist threat/attack, Bauer is going to be involved, and somehow things will mostly work out within that same 24 hour timeframe.

I'll likely check it out if they get more shows on, but I'm not all that excited about the idea.
