Nuclear is clean energy and molten salt or other innovations provide safe and reliable operations. Nuclear power is available 24/7/365. The same is not true of wind or solar generated energy - in fact both solar and wind often rely on diesel or gas powered generators to supply a large portion of the energy those "green" power plants are credited with.
