200,000 people turn out for Obama in Germany

I bet you didn't know this....

Two popular German acts -- reggae artist Patrice and rock band Reamonn -- entertained the gathering audience before Obama spoke... I bet none of these people were there to see them....LOL

It appears Reamonn is a popular all over Europe.... How convenient this wasn't widely reported...

But they stayed and cheered Obama and waved AMERICAN FLAGS.

Did you notice how they grew dead silent when Obama talked about continuing to confront Terrorism?

What does that tell you?

The world is tired of Bush droning on about a minor threat, when we have much bigger problems.

The world doesn't want an America that is about killing and torture and Gitmo and Cheney. The world wants an America that lives up to its ideals. That is what Obama represents to the world.

Funny you think that considering your boy Obama was the one saying it.

Wouldn't surprise me if they handed out the flags as they walked up.

I still don't give a DAMN what the Germans think or any other country out there.

Without the help of other countries we can do very little. Leadership is getting others to support your goals. We have had very little leadership the last eight years.

Was there a concert before this rally? I think that was another rally in the U.S. where the Decembrists played... even so, the Decembrists never had a crowd that big.

They've been saying he got a rock star welcome, so I can see where that might confuse you.

If it's a beautiful day after a long winter... Yeah they can draw the crowd. On top of that KNRK was announced the free concert in the days leading up to the concert. Oh and then there's the fact that The Decemberists are a Portland band. The city where they would have the largest draw... I'd say at least 75% where there for the free concert.

Heck I was even tempted on going. I like The Decemberists but just couldn't deal with the thought of being counted in the crowd for Obama.

Bush has succeeded in making fighting terrorism look bad.

That is an extraordinary accomplishment.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

I can't argue against Bush making things look bad, he does it all the time. Just one of the many reasons I regard him as an utter failure as president.

However I would hope the Europeans would be smart enough, to see through Bush and realize confronting Terrorism is still an important issue, despite how retarded, and Franky arrogant Bush is.

The audience was there to hear a rock concert and drink beer. Obama just happened to make a dopey commie speech in the middle of the whole thing.

Ayep... and borrowing once again from Obamas ideas of free givaways and concerts to draw crowds, McCain hired Benny Goodman and showered the crowd with geritol vitamin supplements. The crowd however was disappointed because it had been rumored that viagra would be distributed. Well either it was that, or the fact that technical overruns caused the crowd to miss the local blue plate special at Harry's Steer n Stein...

Man, the jealosy of the people on this site is astonishing...

That comment doesn't even make sense. Jealous of Obama? Jealous of the people who get to attend the concerts?

I'm sure the polling that helped you arrive at that number was very scientific.

But again, he stated there was a concert before the speech in German. I said I didn't know that to be the case.

And the Decembrists never had a crowd that big. :)

I liked the whole schtick with Stephen Colbert, though.
