Just like how all the looting in New Orleans after Katrina was because blacks have lower IQs, right?

Despite warnings that HB 87 – the restrictionist, anti-immigration law that passed the Georgia General Assembly this year – would hurt the state’s agricultural industry, Gov. Nathan Deal, seemingly unconcerned, signed it anyway. The law hasn’t even gone into effect yet and already it’s a disaster, costing Georgia farmers between $300 million to $1 billion in lost crops:

Nativism costs Georgia farmers $300 million to $1 billion

    ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Recent studies released by the Georgia Restaurant Association and the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association paint a dark picture for the impact of HB 87.

According to Karen Bremer, the Executive Director for the Georgia Restaurant Association, workers who held jobs as dishwashers, line cooks, or janitors in restaurants are fleeing the state in droves costing restaurant owners thousands of dollars in lost sales.

"When asked about current labor availability, three quarters of the restaurants surveyed are experiencing a labor shortage," said Bremer. "Workers are scared to come to Georgia."

Bremer said despite Georgia's 10 percent unemployment rate owners report Georgians are not stepping up to fill the positions.

Study: HB 87 could cost state $1 billion? - CBS Atlanta 46

Since 2002, Georgia has become a "Red State". See what they did? Passed all these anti immigration bills. Where are all these unemployed Republicans who were supposed to rush out and take these jobs? Unless, there are no unemployed Republicans. All the Republicans are working. Only the Democrats are unemployed. Does anyone believe that?

To address unemployment, Georgia governor proposes farm work - Page 2 - CNN

As for unemployed white Georgians, they're not showing up for agriculture jobs either, farm managers said.

In Peach County, more than half of residents are white, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, and 26% are out of work, according to the Georgia Department of Labor. The county is kept afloat by agriculture jobs.

Everything Republicans do fails. Everything they touch turns to disaster. Because they operate on "gut feelings" not data or study. They imagine how things work. And they imagine the way to fix the problem.
