The winner was 8-1 favourite Corach Rambler. If Dusty Carpet was running, I would have put a bet on, he's never been beaten.

Intact, way back in the 90's I put a bet a bet on and would, probably just a couple of quid. The following year, I think I put a fiver on and lost, so never betted on the Grand National since.

Do Americans watch it, or even bet on it? Doubt it.

I worked in Aintree real close to the track. Never saw it there, but I've seen it on TV here in the States.
