Beginning of the end for the Western Roman Empire. They probably wished they had a leader like Hadrian that would have built a wall there.
The Roman Empire was the place to be in the 5th Century. Indoor plumbing, a very high degree of civilization compared to the Shithole areas outside the RE.
But the immigrants that came in weren't Romans, and brought the foreign ideology of Vandalism into the realm. And pretty soon the Roman Empire was through.
America is at a similar point today. But we have a chance to Make America Great Again and turn back the challenge
