Otherwise it would be another mass shooting!!

The District of Columbia has some of the most Draconian gun control in America- this shows the result of that.

Instead of safe, legal firearms, DC residents are largely forced to shop with gun merchants who operate out of the back rooms of cocktail lounges and the trunks of their cars, selling to anyone and without the ability to do background checks.

Remember, you really can't ban firearms, people will find a way to get them regardless.

The only safe part of DC is the northwest quadrant. They have beautiful single family homes along upper 16th Street, and some nice luxury apartment buildings closer in, but drive into SE (the worst), NE, and SW (not the worst, but still bad), and you will risk your life if your car breaks down, and you are white.

DC, Chicago, Baltimore….. all strict gun laws yet all have gun violence problems. The anti-gun liberals know this but their real issue is they don’t like law abiding citizens owning guns.

All diehard Democrat cities. Remember when the thugs were rioting in Baltimore and the lib mayor said to give them “space to destroy”? These libs have practically decriminalized felonies.

I flew into DC for a stopover, stayed in a hotel about a mile or so from the Capitol. I told the receptionist I was going to walk to the Capitol at night and sightsee. She told me NOT to because mugging and shootings were so common that close to the Capitol.

Its not just in 'the hood', unless you consider the Capitol part of 'the hood'.

Capitol Hill has some very crime-ridden areas. Been that way for decades.

The president seems concerned about a white guy in Mississippi but not so much about black on black shootings in his backyard.
