Very "Tired" Commercial DWM Luger....1920s era

I bought this .30 Luger this morning more as a project than anything else. $300.00.

It's not dated but I think it's a 20s era "alphabet Luger".

All the serial numbers match but I'm unsure of the mag due to the base metal having been repaired.

The bore is just fine and everything works as it should.

The best it will ever be is just a ugly shooter.

Well, it has hit the century mark, we all get ugly at that age.

I finished cleaning it, I was surprised at the amount of OEM finish under the crud. Of course I did take the liberty of putting some cold blue on the barrel and rubbing it down till it sorta matched the rest of it.

I cleaned the stocks with DA and hit them with some Old English furniture polish for walnut.

I even dug around and found my El Paso Saddlery repro commercial Luger holster.....Still ugly but I like it!
