Teacher Confronts School Board and Brings Up The Bible and The Constitution

1. Our founding fathers were "deists" not Christians and frankly, they were not over fond of bible thumping Christians.
2. Our nation was founded on our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, which was a mixture of Iroquois Nations principles and an emerging western ideology.
Having said the above, I believe that as children that enter our schools are from a myriad of religions, no religion should be pushed in the public school system. If parents want their child to have a religious education, that's what Sunday School and religious schools are for. Christians want religion in public schools to shove their particular religion down the throats of non-Christians, which is wrong.
As for the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, its Bill of Rights and the Federalist Papers, those do need to be included in all high school classrooms, as "a form of "history class," as it is a major part of our history and that it be required to learn in order to graduate.

Our founders did not claim we were founded on God and the Constitution. The Constitution says no such thing.

Children are capable of understanding that there are Homosexuals and Transexuals and that they are not the scary monsters that their parents teach them

We only agree on your first paragraph. As to children. The human pre-frontal cortex is "not" fully formed in girls until around the age of 18, whereas the pre-frontal cortex in males is not fully formed until around the age of 25.
The function of the pre-frontal cortex:
1. Decision making, reasoning.
2. Planning.
3. Personality expression.
4. Moderating social behavior.
This is why the military seeks out high school and college age young people. Once a male has reached the age of 25, he is far less likely to agree to put his life on the line for the minimal pay and stringent rules handed out.
Parents are there to guide their children because their brains aren't fully developed yet and yes, while young ones may have a feeling that they are different than their counterparts, an important life-altering decision, which would ruin their ability to have children in the future, must be restricted (we don't allow them to drive, move out, get jobs, vote, et cetera, until they are at least 18, when their pre-frontal cortexes are more formed).
Also, as minors, they must be protected from adults that seek to have inappropriate relations with them. This nonsense about sexualizing them early is evil at the very least.

Unkatore just responded by listing my post as "fake news." It doesn't take much to verify what I posted as factual.
Unkatore is just a troll.

Children are capable of learning there are homosexuals without becoming homosexuals themselves
Nobody is “sexualizing” them, only teaching the realities of sexuality

Schools must be restricted to teaching only that which will prepare them for being able to get jobs or advance to colleges/universities. Parents hold the responsibility for more personal matters.

Not any business of public schools to be teaching that aberrations are acceptable.

Afraid it is

Schools represent the realities of our society. The reality is that not all marriages are man and wife, not every family has a mommy and daddy, some fellow students will be gay.
Schools must unteach the hatred and fear parents teach about homosexuals…just like they did with hatred of blacks

Schools must prepare for life

Is this "news" from two years ago or something? Because this is all over now. Trans, "indoctrination", etc isn't even CLOSE to touching the crises in schools. And there is a crisis.

Oh well.
