So, it’s Jewish American history month. Honestly, I hate these “months”. We are all Americans. We all enjoy the same rights, and until more recently, we all shared the same cultural identity. Your skin color and your religion, didn’t matter we were all brothers. Now we are fractionalized on a monthly program.

That said, looking at the “Jewish American History Month” displays, I’m impressed. Jews have contributed more to our society than any other race besides white people. And I don’t care what your stupid identity is, if you want to contribute to our society, you are my brother.

If that is true --- and I believe it is , in many key respects ---the important matter then is determining how that evolved and if it has been maintained and even intensified .
Because for many that's where the problems begin .

For example , you could suggest that a system that gives a defined "1%" complete banking control and also uses the Media , Entertainment and Pharmaceutical sectors to keep that control rigid , has major disadvantages .

1. Yes, congratulations to the Jewish people on this special month. Like all human beings, there are good Jewish people and bad Jewish people.

2. BUT one thing for sure:

a. When you walk down the street, a Jewish person is probably not going to sucker punch you.
b. If you own a store, a group of Jewish youths is probably not going to ransack your store.
c. If you are on public transportation, a Jewish person is probably not going to murder you.
d If you live in a Jewish neighborhood, there will probably be no pack of pit bulls roaming the street.
e. If your kids attend a predominately Jewish public high school, there will probably be no climate of violence and vandalism.

I’m Jewish, raised in a rather observant Jewish family, went to Hebrew School and Sunday School, and now still maintain a kosher diet, go to Shabbos services (not as much as I should), celebrate all Jewish holidays, take Torah classes weekly, etc., etc., so I ask….

….why do I know about Black History Month and never heard of Jewish Month? I’ve been in Torah classes throughout May for years, ans nobody ever mentioned it. I’ve gone to Shabbos services in May, and nobody ever mentioned it.

I bet 95% of Jews are unaware of Jewish Month. Yet everyone know about Black History Month. WHY IS THAT?

You’re right. Never heard of those, either. All I ever have seen promoted are African-American Month and Gay Month. Must be affirmative action for special months.
