I suspect that so many people (not all of them young) will vote for somebody based not on their own analysis but that of someone else they like or admire. Taylor Swift for example, I don't know who she supports but whoever it is probably will get lots of other votes because of her influence. And it could be famous actors, sports figures, or other celebrities. That's unfortunate, but true IMHO.
