In a Republic, actually
‘A federal judge on Monday rebuked Republican Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall’s threatened prosecution of those who help people in Alabama obtain abortions out of state in a location where abortions are legal.
[…]
“[T]he Constitution protects the right to cross state lines and engage in lawful conduct in other States, including receiving an abortion,” U.S. District Judge Myron H. Thompson wrote in the 98-page opinion. “The Attorney General’s characterization of the right to travel as merely a right to move physically between the States contravenes history, precedent, and common sense.”’

It was never about states’ rights or letting the states decide.

They will only get more bold about it.

And the current SCTOUS cannot be trusted to keep them from doing it

The AG knows he couldn't do anything but the idea seems to be the most over the top you can be.

Sure it was. Alabama got to decide. They are just prevented from deciding women cannot go out of state for whatever lawful purpose they choose in, in another state, and Alabama cannot choose to prosecute the women or anybody that assists them, leaving the state. The women are protected by their constitutional rights, just as Alabama is protected from having to have abortions in their state. It makes sense to me.

What else are Republicans wanting, to do away with the US Constitution? Most of them do support the constitution, even though, some Republicans don't.
