Ronald Reagan warned us about the growing power and size of the federal government, which was approaching terrifying levels.
We didn't learn.
It's even worse now 40 years later.
There's a place for government to help and your parents' home is a good example.
But the federal government is FAR too powerful and FAR too expensive and FAR too inefficient. And it continues to grow like a cancerous tumor.
