My 95 year old mother who still lives by herself, drives, and teaches a Wednesday night bible class was out in the yard without her walker showing the tree guy which trees she wanted trimmed, and which ones to cut down when she tripped. Stitches inside and outside her mouth where her top plate broke and stabbed through her upper lip. Broken occipital and some other bone that I can't pronounce in her face and bruised ribs. My daughter, her granddaughter, the ER doctor, was not on duty, but she rushed up there to sew her up and take care of her. No broke bones anywhere else, but her ribs are as bruised as her face. After spending the night in the hospital, on the way home, I mentioned it might be time for someone to come stay with her at least a couple of days a week until she got better. She made it clear that she didn't need anybody, and implied she might kick my ass if I mentioned it again. Over her objections, I stayed last night and most of today with her. She was up at 7:am and cooked my breakfast, and other than the bruises, you would think nothing had happened. I'm no where near that tough. She also made it very clear that I wouldn't be taking any more pictures until she fixed her hair.

Grandma seems a lot tougher than the OP.....Good on her!

Jokes aside OP you need to keep an eye on her if even on the sly. At her advanced age trauma like that can trigger a cognitive decline real quick....It's sorta what happened to my 92 year old mom....She got the dementia after a bout of the covid and died in a year.

We know she has a lot of years behind her. Making her comfortable and happy now is much more important than it was in the past.

"Ready to fly. Anytime!"
No worries. My ass is kick hardened.

Watch the boozing .
Judging by the colour of her cheek she is good friends with Mr Jack Daniels .
No wonder she tripped .
Nope. Tea totaler, I did get her and my grandmother to eat some special brownies back in the 70s though. They were unaware of what was in them, but they had fun eating them.

No, Opening Post. Not a person. Got it yet?
You're welcome.
Sigh, I hate to embarrass you Mr. Bad-Ass but:

First is "OP" means "original poster." This usage comes from chat forums. It refers to the initial person who made a post or started a thread, such as on Reddit.

Now, "OP" is broadly used to identify whoever made the original post that someone replying to, such as on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter or any other social media platform. "OP" can also be short for "original post."

Thank God, for a second there I thought maybe one of Kamala's staffers looked at her the wrong way.
