My brother and I did a NY to FL road trip, and he insisted we stop at Buc-ee’s

Worth the trip!

Looks like the closest one to me would be in central Kentucky.

I have...Though the food is good, the joint is mainly geared to selling Buc-ees trinkets, tchotchkes, and doo-dads...Without them, those caverns would have about 1/4 the floor space.
Whoever came up with it the guys a marketing and merchandising genius.
If i was in thier position ?I'd be looking at every interstate exit where I could possibly put one in the best

Thanks. Surprisingly they do have a vegetarian burrito... so if I'm ever in the south or east, I guess I can try it out, lol.

Yeah, the South is probably not the best place if you are a strict vegetarian, but I note with interest they also make their own home-made products in many other areas including their own home-made trail mixes, fudges, ice creams, baked goods, they also have a section for healthy foods with vegetarian wraps, salads and other things.

And they also make a peppermint bark fudge around Christmas.
Basically, you are not getting out of the store without spending at least $200.00. :SMILEW~130:

Oooh, some of those things you mentioned sound yummy. Come on though, there's no way I'd eat enough to spend $200 bucks. It's not like I'm 500 pounds or anything like that. I try not go out to eat too often, it's much cheaper and better to cook at home. :) But anyway, if I'm ever on a road trip, I'll keep that in mind.

Well, I figured you and your friends are already there so will be having your meals there, then there is the drive home, and baked goods can keep a week or more. And stuff like fudge, cookies, trail mixes and most of about 500 other things they offer there will keep for at least a month, so I'd load up on stuff then take it home and throw some in the fridge or freezer for the holidays.
