Like most the scifi and conspiracy loving Americans, I was addicted to the X-Files during the 90's.
Great scifi/fantasy TV.

During the shows run, there were many, many characters in the show.........from a Lizard Man, to sewer monsters, to The Lone Gunman.

Besides Moulder and Skully............Who was your favorite character on the show?

My favorite is the Genie.
I'd love to see her again on the show. And yes, I know the show is over with.
But I'd love to see what life she chose for herself after Moulder let her free from her Genie bond.
I loved her, she was sarcastic, witty, and a hazard to be around.
What an awesome friend she would make.

Season 7, episode 21 I believe.

Never understood why. I've tried to watch X Files about 30 times. ONE time I saw something cool. The rest of the time every one I tuned into was boring with no action, nothing going on except people standing around talking. Nothing like Kolchak, and certainly NOTHING like The Outer Limits.

B-O-R-I-N-G.

Yeah, it was more "cerebral" and dealt with more of the conspiracy of it all.
Not lots of action, but the storylines made up for that, because you never knew if they were actually going to DO something or not.
And the extra characters they did have on the show made up for it in a large part.

To tell the truth, I really don't know how we got thru the first season, because I found it boring.

Maybe it was the only good show on in its time slot??? I don't remember, really.
