I came across this before. I saw a bike sitting beside a box and went to look at it if needing repaired. Stopped to look at it and a guys head came up out of the dump tray and said it was his. One of the street people here looking for stuff.

I've seen them here too. One stole two of my boxes full of things when I moved into the neighbourhood. He tried to get away while I was upstairs moving them into my new appartment. When I came back to get another box I saw him and I chased him down and caught him red handed. I told him he'd have to help me take them back ...... and he did!

I would think you need to be strong to pull yourself out of that container. It will get hotter than inside a parked car in the afternoon. Not a good way to die.

Reminds me of an employee I had a long time ago who came out of a bank after cashing her paycheck. A guy came up to her car with a gun and demanded the money and she gave most of it to him but said she needed to keep enough out so she could buy lunch that day and he said OK.

My bank started having a security guy at it on Saturdays. He doesn't carry a gun. Mostly stands in the shade of the door way and opens the door for people. We have a bunch of street people here now. All I have heard about is shoplifting stuff though.

Goodwill more or less did away with unmanned drop boxes here years ago because of theft. Now they have them either at their store or in staffed drop locations that are more like those construction trailers.

My big question is how long was she in there for?

God bless you and the lady's family always!!!

Friends have moved out of inner Salt Lake City because of homeless people during the last ten years.

We have some here in parking lots that are no where near stores. You can yell all day and nobody will here you. Likely another person going there to donate saw her head and arms hanging out the chute

Add it to the Darwin list of people who will not pass on their stupid gene pool.

It isn't just other people who donate that should be there at some point. The big question is how frequently do the collectors come to get whatever is in there?

God bless you always!!!
