Republicans can write off Minnesota for the foreseeable future but it looks like they'll lose Wisconsin as well which is a swing state. You don't kill Midwesterners on the street and tell them to shut up about it. You get tough in the cold.

They joined Minnesota's lawsuit challenging ICE surge activities.

Gov. Tony Evers announced Monday that Wisconsin has signed on to an effort to support the state of Minnesota’s lawsuit seeking to challenge the presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol agents in the Twin Cities area.

Minnesota filed its lawsuit after the federal government sent about 3,000 federal agents into the region and an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Good Jan. 7. On Saturday, agents shot and killed Alex Pretti. Minnesota is seeking a temporary restraining order against the federal government’s actions.

Late last week, Wisconsin joined Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, District Of Columbia, Delaware, Hawai‘i, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont and Washington in filing an amicus brief supporting Minnesota’s case.

“DHS has set in motion an extraordinary campaign of recklessness and disregard for norms of constitutional policing and the sanctity of life,” the brief states. “This has resulted in federal agents that have fatally shot one resident, seriously wounded others, tear gassed an infant and other children, attacked peaceful protestors, and systematically conducted illegal stops and arrests. When tragedy has struck and public outcry rung out, the response has been a promise to deliver more of the same. Indeed, just days ago, President Trump threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act, and it is reported that the Pentagon is preparing 1,500 troops to possibly deploy to Minnesota, reflecting the Administration’s desire to further escalate tensions and put the military into an unlawful domestic role.”

Considering that this is basically the same issue that Texas fought the feds over during the Biden regime. . . i.e. immigration and border enforcement, and subsequently largely lost on. . .

I don't expect the states to prevail on this.

So you support Sanctuary Cities and agitators attacking Federal Officers trying to apprehend violent criminal immigrants? I just want to clearly understand your position.

Sure i support violent criminal apprehension. So do sanctuary cities. Anyone with a warrant for any crime you listed is not released. Are you kidding?

I dont support warrentless stops. I dont support racial profiling. I dont support executing US citizens who are protesting warrantless stops, racial profiling and murderous ICE agents. And I dont support illegal detainers being held by local authorities. The courts have ruled they violate the 4th amendment.

LOL You are talking out of both sides of your mouth just like a good Democrat. We have all seen in grim detail how a "Sanctuary City" operates. The local law enforcement stands down and allows violent agitators to attack Federal law enforcement. The Sanctuary City leaders fuel the chaos and has resulted in two deaths so far. That is NOT supporting criminal apprehension, that is the OPPOSITE of that in fact.

And FYI there are extensive ICE operations going on in Texas and Florida and they are quietly doing their job without screeching lunatics throwing bricks at their vehicles and trying to run over ICE officers. What do you suppose is the difference?
