I picked this one up the other day mainly because I had two extra OEM 5-round mags and a single-shot "sled" mag for it that I found in a bag with a bunch of gun parts I bought a few years back.

It came with a 10 round OEM mag as pictured.

They were made from 1935 to 1963.

This one is of later production due to the scope mounting groves and chromed/grooved trigger. It was way over-scoped so I put a like vintage 4X32 Lyman on it.

It was windy as hell out yesterday so I stuck to my usual sight-in distance of 35 yards. It produced one hole groups at that distance. To be honest I did not expect any different. All the older Winchester .22s, if well maintained, shoot great.

You seem to be the firearm guru here, what do you think of Marlin Camp Carbines?

I have a Camp 45 and it shoots just fine....The Camp 9 and 45s have pretty much moved into the collector category now what with all the other, and much lower priced PCCs out there.

A Camp 45 pushes 1K now....A Camp 9 about $650.00 or so. Both are single stacks.

Thanks. Bought it 15-20 yrs ago. Have a 22 that looks very much like it
