The fault line in politics today is education. If you are more educated you vote democrat, if you are less educated you vote republican. Ironically however, both parties are led by politicians educated at the ivy league schools.

Question: Why is education the single best indicator of voting patterns now?

“The biggest single, best predictor of how someone’s going to vote in American politics now is education level. That is now the new fault line in American politics,” Sosnik told David Chalian on the “CNN Political Briefing” podcast.

Trump’s rise over the past three election cycles, Sosnik argued, “accelerated and completed this political realignment based on education that had been forming since the early ’70s, at the beginning of the decline in the middle class.”

As the US transitions to a 21st century economy, there’s a rift between the people who attain education – “that’s become the basic Democratic Party,” he said, comparing them with people who feel left behind, “that group of voters is now the modern Republican Party base.”

There’s a direct correlation to politics. In 2020, according to CNN’s exit polls, voters with a college degree accounted for 41% of the electorate and they supported President Joe Biden 55% to Trump’s 43%. Trump got the support of about two-thirds of White voters without a college degree, but he lost White college-educated voters.

"Education does not make bad people good, it just makes bad people educated."

No matter how educated, talented. rich, or cool you believe you are it's how you treat others that tells the tale......Integrity and responsibility is everything......Without either, the "educated" are nothing.

Question: Why is education the single best indicator of voting patterns now?

The answer is simple: INDOCTRINATION.

You see, the Great Leftist Lie is that college makes you smarter when in fact, education does not affect IQ which is set at birth.

But what more time spent in modern, progressive-Liberal universities does is give far left leaning professors more time to bend the heads of students into telling them WHAT to think, poisoning their minds with lots of hateful rhetoric like "democracy is at stake" which of course, then democrats like the OP try to gaslight into college educated people tend to vote more leftist because somehow, they are more "educated."

The word is INDOCTRINATED. That is why as young people grow older and more experienced, they wise up and start leaning more conservative Republican.

Education is NOT the only factor that decides how people vote.
That is just more MSM bullshit.

The old truism still holds: "people vote their own wallet" (always have, always will)

The answer is not complicated: Trump is massively appealing to the working class. The working class has far fewer people with college degrees than the so-called "middle class."

But the Left seeks to make itself feel superior with this little observation, ignoring the fact that there are also millions of well-educated Americans, successful Americans, and brilliant figures who strongly support Trump, with all his faults.

In fact, regardless of education, one would have to be a higher level of stupid to vote for the Democrat ticket in this election. Their policies would literally destroy the country that we all grew up in.

In the UK they had the BNP, a far right political party. For the most part these people are badly educated and not very bright. But they had Nick Griffin who went to Cambridge and was able to push the party into a position of notoriety and a little bit of power. (He came third in what he stated was a two horse race, but without Griffin they barely stand for elections).

It happens, the smart know they can make money, get the power and fame they want from politics by manipulating stupid people.

The Reps and Dems both do it, just because someone is more educated doesn't mean they aren't manipulated and doesn't mean they are knowledgeable and using their smarts to think about politics.

Why are all the GOP leaders highly educated Ivy Leagers? Looks to me like the elite educated GOP are leading the rest - but to what end?

Trump - Penn (transfer)
Vance - Yale
Hawley- Yale
Desanits - Yale/Harvard
Cruz - Harvard
Cotton - Harvard

But Education is a better indication of voting patterns than wealth. I asked above, if education was about programming why are all the GOP leaders highly educated and many from Ivy Leagues? Even Marjorie Taylor Greene graduated from the University of Georgia - a very fine school.

Being in college teaches critical thinking, because you're thrown in with other young people from all different backgrounds, perspectives and ideas. In that environment, a curious young mind absorbs a great deal of thought that is directly contrary to theirs.

So not being in that environment essentially handicaps a person. Then, if they are embedded in a religious lifestyle, their exposure to critical thinking practice is even less, because all their answers are provided for them and they're discourged from challenging them.

The curious mind atrophies when not exercised, and that's a goddamn shame. For anyone.

They went to school decades ago. Have you heard that donations to Harvard have fallen through the floor since all their antisemitic protests? Harvard is taking it up the ass, announcing they may have to further raise tuition prices which will further cost them money and attendance! Walls come crashing in all over on the BLUE DEVILS. 👿

Most coming out of college now have no critical thinking skills and very little education. Its a shame.
College graduates hold about three-quarters of the wealth in the US, but account for only about 40% of the population. Seems to be a successful path so I would disagree with your assessment.

You dont think it's odd that the leaders of the GOP are highly educated ivy league grads telling people they control not to trust people just like themselves? Seems odd man.

Because once they get a position in a company, they only admit OTHER college grads like themselves with similar brainwashing to the good paying jobs. And no matter how important the job or smart the worker, if the position doesn't need a college ed., they only pay them peanuts.

But interesting that you admit college grads (mostly democrats) are only 40% of the population yet claim to hold the popular vote! :laughing0301:

They may be ivy league grads, but many of them are RINOS so are really just democrats in sheep's clothing. You have to look at what people DO, not what they say.

Makes sense as academia is routinely Left leaning.

Indoctrination is far to easy for the Sheeple.

My field is strictly geology. I agree that education helps one attain better salaries. I'll not argue that. However, I know people in HVAC, plumbing, electricians, etc that don't have college degrees and are highly successful and make high six figure salaries while their counterparts are burdened with six figure student loans. Ivy league education doesn't impress me. I know some of those people and they know very little.

We all know that if you need surgery you go to a doctor not some dude that has street smarts. Why? Because they were educated to treat you.

You trust education. You just don’t like what they tell you. Eat right. Exercise. Don’t smoke. Don’t be fooled by an orange con man who lies constantly. The election wasn’t stolen. Vaccines work.

You’re the idiot, not the experts.

another logical fallicy.

The dividing line is between those that love to watch 'reality' TV shows, and those that don't watch any of them.

There are many people with college degrees that are not very good. Those degrees look good on the resume though. And then the hiring practices are another thing.

It’s not how you treat others Most people treat friends and relatives well.

It’s how you treat OTHERS. Those not like you.
