Why do we let fake polls exist?

Shouldn't we demand accountability for something that could affect the election? They have no business in today's world. Get rid of them ASAP.

I almost hate to ask, but who would we put in charge of judgement of these polls? Do we decide on a enforced set of standards, sampling and peer review?
I personally believe this about polls; They are designed to beused as political weapons. All polls should be given about the same attention one gives to a beetle crawling on the ground.
Anyway, nobody forces you to believe polls, or read them. Besides.....78.4% of statistics are made up on the spot. (I just made up that statistic, obviously)

Its a nationwide poll. Its meaningless. That doesn't mean its not accurate.

You dont even allow hand counting of votes or the demanding of ID to vote, why wouod fake polls matter? America is headed to Middle Power status, it wont be because of fake polls.

You can't stop media from reporting them, or the pollsters from doing them, it's a 1st amendment thing.

How do we distinguish between valid polls & fake ones though, although I view polls as nothing more than an opinion or projection. The only thing that matters is the actual vote.
