First of all please those of you that continued to tout Bill Gates as the advocate of climate change being destructive... read the following:
Gates promoted a winner from last year who tries to use rock-like resources to safely store carbon dioxide sucked from the atmosphere, speeding up a natural process by 100,000 times. If that company can get the price of storing carbon dioxide down to $50 a ton it “brings in this additional tool that reduces the temperature rise.”

Now knowing most of you have a 8.5 second attention span I'm going to add another comment has to how Gates $50/ton emissions capture cost is one of several winners THAT will NOT require "fossil fuels" destruction!

Bill Gates sees 'a lot of climate exaggeration' out there: 'The climate is not the end of the planet. So the planet is going to be fine'
Gates, Mike Bloomberg and Prince William were announcing finalists for the Earthshot Prize for companies and groups with new ways to save the planet.
