This is noting new. The left is deeply racist, they just think it is 'good' racism. They have been calling for separate spaces for decades, black only graduations, safe spaces and the like. What did you expect this to culminate in?

The racism on the left is very different than the visceral hatred that springs from the racist right but they are still people and still fall into the same bullshit tendencies everyone else does, even if they pretend it is not there.
