Why are Democrats suddenly Afraid of the Word "King." Don't they know we won't really have a heriditary ruling monarch?

Americans have been secure in knowing we would never ever have a king since some guys tried to talk George Washington into taking that title. He said "no, that's not what our new country is going to be."

So, if Washington didn't become a king, nobody else will.

So, it is fine Just fine if we call Elvis the King of Rock and Roll, or Michael Jackson the King of Pop (with far less justice), or Budweiser the King of Beers (Bud Lite the queen?), or say a man is King in his own Castle, or call Huey Long Kingfish, or call politicians with a lot of pull in political races "Kingmakers," Artillery the King of Battle, or watch King of the Hill, or King of Queens, etc.

Trump is the King of Good Government, and I doubt he will lose that title. His spending cuts will likely save government from economic collapse.
So, I will call him King. King Trump or King Donald. Not every time, but when he is especially successful. If that offends any of you, put me on ignore and pronto.

:desk: Because since leaving office, the only serious job offers to Joe and Kammy have been working at Burger King? Joe as the costumed actor in their next round of TV ads, and Kammy as a fry cook at the Sausalito Burger King?

Democrats go all crazy over the silliest things. Someone waves, makes a throw away comment. They go insane looking for meanings.

Classic Trump trolling. Just like when said he would only be dictator for one day. He knows that the panty bunchers like Sunny Hostin will see is "King" statement and go berserk. It is entertaining.
Trump does have a magnificent sense of humour so you could be right.

How do we know Trump wasn't using the word King to refer to NYC, the city he just saved from congestion pricing? Long live the King. The only ones who seem to be infuriated by Trump's usage of King are Hochul and Hoss, two supreme alarmists that get slobbering mad over anything conservative.
