Iraq appears to be aligning with Syria, Russia, and Iran, to fend off radical Islamic "Rebels" who are comprised of Al-Qaeda and affiliates, Islamic State, and the originally mostly Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces. Those factions are being backed by the US, France, and the UK. This shit all started when Hillary Clinton wanted to have Assad removed. So I hate to say it, but we're the "bad guys" in that war.
