I can't imagine something like this happening to me.
I love my freedom of movement.
My freedom to manipulate things in the environment.
It seems like there were no stories like this 10-12 years ago but now they are a reality.
What is happening to the environment?
And where are the regrowable and/or cybernetic limbs?
Where is that sci fi utopia I used to dream of when I was younger?
It seems like American society was making massive advancements from the 60s to the 90s.
What happened in the 2000s-2010s?
What if America had a huge cultural shift where it became obsessed with working toward a sci fi future and the fight against "Global Warming" was part of that effort?
