How well would God know you if all he knew of you is what you told him in prayer?

One great difference between Islam and Christianity is that in Islamic thinking, God is not our Father. God is our master. We are not God's children. We are his slaves. Where Christians and Muslims are the same is that both seek God's will, but our perspectives about God differ. How do you approach God? How well does your own father know you from what you tell him? In the same way, how much would your heavenly Father know you, if all he knew of you is what you were telling him? What perspective of God do you talk with? What do you keep back from telling God because you tell yourself, God knows this already?

There is a thread of Billy Graham in the forum. I understand he has many great sermons. My go-to people for homilies and talks are Father Mike Schmitz and Bishop Robert Barron. This thread was inspired by Father Mike's homily this morning.

Many Christians relationship with God the Father is directly related to their relationship with their earthy father. Some cannot address God as "Father" due to their horrible relationship with their natural father.

Islam is not really a religion. It is a manifesto for conquering the world cobbled together with various themes borrowed from Christianity and Judaism in order to make it APPEAR to be a religion.

I heard it said that Iran is a cause, not a country.

Perhaps for some. I am guessing for most, it is like it is everywhere--a home even more than it is a country.

I don't know adults who are Muslim as my contact with the Muslim community is solely through the Muslim students at school. While it does differ from mine, I do admire their loyalty to God/Allah. They work at their faith.
