Of course, due to the Creepy Ones misrepresenting me for over three decades I must start with the obligatory, "now I don't agree with her tweet". One of my favourite quotes, often attributed to Voltaire is "I wholly disapprove of what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it".
This is one of my core tenets of my being and one which I don't easily recoil from. Too many men better than me fought for freedom and I won't be yet another coward who spits on their graves.
This is yet another reason why the U.S needs to place civil liberties to the forefront and Trump must not stand down. When it comes to cultural/social issues, this is one which Trumps administration can ride high into the Mid-terms by repeatedly bringing this up as the direction the U.S must NOT go in as once free nations are. Separate yourselves from other nations and he will expand popularity across all demographics and political ideology.
Be it Canada or the U.K, the U.S is dealing with nations who have betrayed principles of civil liberties, they must be called out. Your State department lead by Rubio, a guy I wanted to win the election in 2016 (or Rand Paul at the time) surely must not be shy about calling this out.
America is going to lose it's unmatched global Goodwill if allies become more like China than America. This is all by design, to shift the culture and governmental systems in the West, something the Russians failed to achieve.
Here is a question for any of the Mi5 or Mi6 employees who surf this site, "just what are you fighting for in 2025 if free speech, even offensive speech in a text online results in a nearly three year sentence"?
Her tweet was offensive and yes, spoke of violence, but she was given a 31 month jail sentence for a simple tweet. If there were laws, wouldn't a simple fine have been sufficient? America must not be silent when this is occurring in the U.K! These are my ancestors and we cannot let them become fascists! Not even China would have given anyone a sentence for such a tweet.
Here is her tweet,, in sanitized form. Should this results in a jail sentence?: 'Mass deportation now, set fire to all the f****** hotels full of the b******* for all I care...if that makes me racist so be it.'

The White House is 'monitoring' the case of Lucy Connolly after her bid to be freed from prison over a Tweet which 'stirred up racial hatred' was refused.
Connolly was jailed for 31 months after she posted an online rant about migrants hours after killer Axel Rudakubana murdered three young girls in Southport on July 29 last year.
The former childminder, who is the wife of Conservative councillor Ray Connolly, deleted the post after four hours but was arrested last August and pleaded guilty to a charge of inciting racial hatred in October.
Last week her appeal against her sentence was refused by three Court of Appeal judges meaning she faces serving another eight months behind bars.
In the wake of that decision, US officials have said they are keeping tabs on the developments in Connolly's case over their 'concerns' about free speech in Britain.
A State Department spokesman said: 'We can confirm that we are monitoring this matter.
'The United States supports freedom of expression at home and abroad, and remains concerned about infringements on freedom of expression.'
It comes after MailOnline reported last week that Connolly's case had been raised with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
