I've only seen three of them, and of those, I don't think any of them are particularly good.

Scarface (and I assume you mean the one with Al Pacino and not the one with Paul Muni) wasn't particularly good because Al Pacino was overacting. Pacino is a great actor when a good director can reign him in, but he comes off as silly when he starts chewing the scenary.

Untouchables- A whole bunch of historical inaccuracies that I just can't take seriously. No, Eliot Ness did not throw Frank Nitti off a building. Nitti killed himself in the 1940's when he was threatened with indictment.

So French Connection was probably the best, although my memory of it is vague.

Key Largo. The Maltese Falcon. On the Waterfront? Get a freaking life.

Untouchables.

did you know this movie did not show the real true story of how they got Al Capone ??

There was a dark Irish undercover cop from Philly that fed all this information to the team

He was so good that even Al said , “ I though you were a wop “

Goodfellas
Godfather I
American Gangster
Godfather II
Donnie Brasco
