California high-speed rail: $15.7B already invested in 'failed' project as Republicans criticize Newsom
California voters in 2008 approved nearly $10 billion in bond money to build a high-speed rail line connecting Los Angeles and San Francisco that was supposed to be running by 2020.
The Californian taxpayers said that their rail system was going to cost $33 billion and be completed by 2020.
Well now Newsom and his con men are saying it will cost over a $100 billion instead, and yes, there is no sign of the rail anywhere.
"One of the things I want to investigate rapidly, because I've never seen anything to this extent—the train that's being built between Los Angeles and San Francisco is the worst managed project I think I've ever seen and I've seen some of the worst," Trump said.
Mismanagement? I'm sure the money went somewhere, just to build the rail.
Good luck investigating these con men. In fact, I doubt anyone goes to jail for this or for the Samali daycare scandal as Omar and company had some 200 Learing centers with the same address and no children in them.
These fat cats must be living high on the hog is all I can figure.
But seeing how the Samali daycare fraud only cost taxpayers of Minnesota around $10 billion, I'd say that the Newsom scandal is far worse.
