Voter turnout in 2016 was low, the 3rd lowest since 1980. Voter turn out increased in every state in the union for 2020. That is what happens when you have a polarizing figure like Trump.

This is high, but not out of historical context.

Between 2000 and 2004, votes went up 15.87%
From 1988-1992 votes sent up 14.21%
Way back in 52 the votes went up 26.04% from 1948
