In 1992 and 1996, Bill Clinton and Al Gore won by winning rural and moderate Southern whites, and some centrist voters over George H.W. Bush and Robert Dole (R-Kansas). Centrist voters are "dwindling" as some analysts say, and Hillary Clinton and the Democrats and some Republicans are focusing on their core base aka "base election turnout". Where are the Clinton voters of the 1990's?

The changing face of centrist campaigning

The short answer:

The US voters are sick and tired of Democrats LYING!

I voted for Clinton/Gore in '92 but had enough of him when he sent tanks to deal with the Branch Davidians whackos in Waco.

Clinton/Gore supporters? About 1/3 are in prison and 1/3 are dead with the final 1/3 in drug rehab.

I took a lot of poli-sci classes at a couple of universities. You would be surprised at the profile of Bill's supporters. Other than minorities, his supporters were Reagan's, pretty blue collar, middle America. So after he betrayed them, you just might be right.

Actually, in truth, I think most of the folks that supported Clinton/Gore are probably supporting Trump right now if they aren't in prison, dead or in a twelve step program. :cheers2:
