The 2015 4th quarter wasn't as bad as everyone believed.
Like the plunging employment participation rate, it's an Orwellian world now.

The LFPR is not "plunging"... What would it look like if
a) private sector payrolls under Scrub had performed as they have under Obama
b) public sector payrolls had grown under Obama at the rate they did under Scrub?

But WHY has it been going down? Below is a graph of those not in the labor force as a percent of the population and those not in the labor force who do not want a job as a percent of the population.
In other words, the drop in the LFPR is due to people who DO NOT WANT TO WORK.
BS spin for Obama's lousy economy. Just like a 1% GDP is good news.
How do you consider that "spin"? True or false, the main reason for the decrease in the Labor Force Participation rate is an increase in the number of people who say they do not want a job now?
EDIT: Since January 2009, the Labor Force Pardicipation Rate has gone down by 3 percentage points.
At the same time, the percent of the population who is not working and does not want a job went up 3.1 percentage points. ALL of the drop in the LFPR is due to those not wanting/needing a job.
