Many on the secular Left need some sort of great cause to give their lives meaning. Now that Global Warming has lost its glitter and nationalized health care is going nowhere, they seem to have become fixated on Pandemics. Once the flu season is over, I wonder what their next Great Cause will be.
The only requirement is that it can be blamed on Trump and the GOP.
