Russia has thousands of nukes ..and Russia developed its 1 st nuke in 1949 .. the same year Mao came to power .. would not have gone well for the Chinese ..

Mao believed they had too many people, and that if 300 million commie Hans died in a war, it would not be a tragedy for him (and his han empire). The Bolshevik empire would lose 100 million, and that would be a major tragedy for Moscow’s commie imperialists.

I spoke to a Soviet officer who was there on the ground during this incident. During his telling of the events he recanted that the casualties on both sides were much higher than what was stated on record. I believed him....
