I get green.

I get red.

But I have one or two gray ones. They feel ambiguous about what I said? Or is my monitor off?

It's a rep, either intended to be positive or negative, from someone with zero rep. I laugh at them it the comment indicates the intent was to neg rep..

Someone doesn't have enough rep to give you a greenie. It IS funny when its meant to be a neg.

where can i find discussion on 2012 us election

See the gray by this cheery's rep asking the stupid question WJ? That's where gray comes from. They have none to give negative or positive.

Red is from when someone neg reps you, takes rep away.

Green is from when someone pos reps you, gives you rep.

Better be careful with dat one...

... Uncle Ferd pushed it...

... an' his hair turned gray.

You must have been terrified to see a gray one! After all, black and white together make gray. AAAAAAaaaaaaAAAAAaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Run away! They're not separated! The horror!!!!
