What compels you to embrace Lefty / Democrat ideology?

What is it about the Democrat Party that has you captured?

A certain lack of hatred for minorities and I'm never sure when I'll be the minority in any group,

This dream of including everyone

That little bit of welfare is closer to that Jesus talk I grew up with

The freedom loving hippies used to be in the D's camp. Not sure since 9-11

R's seem to STILL like big government in my personal life, small government in business regulations

Used to be if you wanted monopolies shut down it was the D's.

Social Security admits a problem, we can't have old ppl not paying their kids anything for rent. They'll be resented.

Obamacare admitted we have had socialist healthcare since hospitals became worth going to. Republicans have their heads in the ground.

R tax plans seem like more of a radical departure from when America was great.

R's have radical environmental ideas on a national level.

What is it about the Democrat Party that has you captured?

I’m not a fan of either party but both ideologies have elements that I respect. The Left sympathized much better with humanitarian efforts... the environment, helping the sick, the poor, the disadvantaged and the oppressed. They better represent a voice for these people against the rich and powerful.

The Right I respect for fiscal responsibility and a balance on over regulation and government over reach. They better help support the free market and economic growth. A healthy balance is key and unfortunately is broken at this time because of demagogues and political hacks.

As for the parties... they both suck balls

If you want a laugh listen to Buck Sextons show. He has got to be the dumbest guy on the radio. It amazes me that he has his own show.
