good 20 years ago or so I saw them two years in a row open for KISS, both were awesome concerts and they played all their hitsI'd have to say those are their four best tunes with Back In The Saddle and Sweet Emotion being my two most favorite. I can really groove on those two tunes.
IMO, Aerosmith while a step or two up in talent over Boston, they are still to me mainstream R&R, so while I might have an album or two of theirs (I'm not sure I have any), they still reside mainly as songs I'd listen to more on the car radio and enjoy/thump my fingers to, but would not ever put on my table at home or go see live in concert.
I did love Steve Tyler on Two And A Half Men, though, especially when he beat the crap out of Charlie Harper.
Not really any criticism of the band so much as just the fact that I've cut my teeth on some of the hairiest, baddest mo-fo hard and psychedelic rock this planet has ever seen enough to peel the skin off the face of most people that makes Led Zep look like a church choir.

this was when KISS pulled out their 70's outfits and put the makeup back on and it was going to be a massive concert tour and it was, Aerosmith at that point were kinda winding down and it benefited both, both classic 70's bands and it apparently worked wellWow, that is surprising: Aerosmith opened for KISS?
I get Aerosmith. I never did get the appeal of KISS.
But then, they used to have Hendrix open for The Monkees, too.

Saw them twice in concert back in the 80's.
Good both times.
Dream On
Sweet Emotion
Don't forget this one!
