We Will Now Be Able to Use Plastic Straws Again

.

Well, I don't dine out so it's not an issue to me. I own plastic straws that I use for crafting purposes. Paper straws would never have sufficed.

.

I've not stopped using them. Why did you?

I haven't seen any around here for the longest time. At least out and about.

Nothing says winning like more plastic pollution in the environment and more plastic for wildlife to consume, choke on and die from.

Not if we don't litter. Go hug a tree.

I've never been anywhere that didn't have them. Let's see.......Michigan, Ohio, WV, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, NY, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee all in the last year.

Probably missed something in there.

If you knew any thing about plastic pollution you would know much of it comes from landfills, trash cans and dumpsters that find their way into rivers and streams usually after heavy storms.

I certainly hope your computer, phone, garbage bags, pens, etc aren't made of plastic... that'd be seriously hypocritical

Honestly that is one dumb comment. Plastics straws and utensils are single use plastics used in the billions worldwide. Single use plastics are a scourge. All Biden was doing was slowly weening off them in national parks in an attempt to keep those parks pristine. But that was asking too much for you MAGAs.

Cry like babies because you can’t get plastic straws at a National Park,

Pathetic.

You've completely missed the point.

Get rid of your plastic.... that'd be funny to watch

No, You've completely missed the point.

The point of the thread is the OP jumping for joy that she can get plastic straws at a National Park.

However, if your point is, that since we live in a world inundated with plastic, there is nothing we can do about plastic in the environment so we may as well live with single use plastics and the ensuing flood of microplastics. The microplastics that are now in every human being: in our blood stream, in our brains and in every organ of our body.

God forbid someone were to try to do something about it.

I doubt plastic is going to be your demise

Another really, truly stupid comment.

Can’t discuss a topic like an adult, resort to being a dimwitted first grader.

Oh, well…

I tried, you can't get past plastic straws are killing humanity while virtually everything you use involves plastic

You should stop
