I will try to show you a picture of the mountain(s) near where I live tomorrow. They have been snow capped, lately. Very early. All my life, and especially when I was a young deer hunter, we wished for early snow. That way, we could track the deer and find them. Our early forefathers depended upon them for a full harvest. Poll Beans were always good, but a little bit of venison in the pot was much better. Nice looking dam. They have those here for water supply, but city council is too numb to put hydro power ;-) Nice people though.

Rain today. Many people settled here because it's similar to Europe. The Von Trap family (maybe you heard of them, Sound of Music) bought my Grandfather's farm when they came after WWII.
