This is a good thing. The idiots on the left seem to believe DOGE is some shadowy organization operating in secret, and keeping information from people. They're laying it all out for the American people to see just how much waste, fraud, and abuse takes place in the government.

I checked the cable channels to see who was broadcasting these hearings. Newsmax and FOX of course. CNN was also showing the hearings but MSNBC wasn't.

Due to antiquated systems the .gov is the mark for criminals (and crooked politicians) because they can just keep printing money and sending out checks.

The depth of corruption in our .gov is simply astounding.....And the dems defend it, each and every one of them so far.

The left is fond of saying that there is only a minimal part of the budget that is discretionary spending and to cut any more than that would cut into Medicare, social security, national defense etc.

But what they don't realize that within the bureaucracy of Medicare/Medicad, Social Security, DOD, FEMA, Education, etc. etc. etc. are all manner of ways that the people's money can be misused, wasted, be rampant with fraud and corruption.

To ferret out and eliminate all that only strengthens those necessary areas of government and even though there is less money involved, what is spent actually benefits the American people instead of unethical or uncaring bureaucrats, politicians, etc.

I can't imagine the mentality of anybody who thinks that wouldn't be a good thing. That our paying $13 TRILLION on the national debt is a good thing as MTG cited that figure which is correct.
