This is so old, they've done this for years. I had a camera mounted on my M8 (XM8 at that time) and a LCD display over my right eye, say well over 10 years ago!

I would think it is to be expected, only I am surprised that the military sector is not actually ahead of the private sector on this one. Usually, that is the case.
