I was watching random YouTube videos Saturday and came across a video explaining how Glen Campbell's song Witchita Lineman came into being. This is a song I have not heard since the 70s, but what the heck, it was an interesting video and I like the song.
Each day on my FireTV cube, there is a scroll of movie recommendations, probably based on my viewing habits. Today, one of those movie recommendations was War On Everybody from 2016.
Never heard of it.
The trailer looked interesting, so what the heck.
Turns out, good movie!
What's strange is that one of the main characters is a Glen Campbell fan and the soundtrack is chock full of Glen Campbell's greatest hits. Hmmmmm...
War On Everybody is a low-budget buddy cop comedy movie, and the cops are crooked.
There isn't that much more to say about it, except for some reason I found it really fun to watch despite its low Rotten Tomatoes rating.
Results may vary.
