California FEDERAL tax receipts usually exceed the amount of expenditures annually. This is due to the docks and other means of revenues. Not personal income taxes.

However the volume of fraud has increased dramatically....causing a huge imbalance and making the receipts vx expenditures go into red territory.

It is so sad that when it comes to government programs crime pays. To be political about it, Democrats who most champion these federal programs should be at the forefront of rooting out corruption. Unfortunately, that isn't the case

Dr. Mehmet Oz, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), expressed his shock at the extent of fraud in Florida, calling it “out of control.”
