Season 1 is not the best but each season just gets better and better
Wait until Forest Whitaker comes in

Vic is a ruthless mastermind cop
He leads a gang strike team that is both good and evil . They put away guys but also break any rules and often are the bad guys
The writing and story is A plus level after season 1
