Why would you think we could shoot them down? If they are intelligent enough to get here, I'm sure they would be able to dodge our bullets as well. Probably have shields to protect them as well. And, there are rumors that some ships have crashed. Have you seen a UFO before? I have. So did the other 300 people at the drive in theater where it hovered over us for about 10 minutes.

Not if they're no physical beings.
Assuming they are "aliens" from another star, can you even begin to imagine how far advanced they'd have to be compared to us? It would be like you peeing into a microscope and observing an amoeba.

Depends to what extent we have correctly guessed their propulsion technology.
If , for example , they use anti gravity whch creates a front bubble of "nothing" into which you obtain instant speed/ movement , a phased radar array might break the configuration and make it vulnerable .

Roswell 1947 where two craft crashed led to this hypothesis being examined because phased radar arrays were coincidently being tested precisely at/ near Roswell which then stationed the only atomic armed aircraft on the planet.
Since then , it is anybodies guess what laser developments have produced both defensively and offensively . All are very deep Black Project areas of development

If you look at our whistleblower whom you so desparately wanted extradited to the States -- Gary McKinnon-- he hacked info suggesting that Secret Space Force has been active at least 40 years .Big time .
Obviously you can suggest this is Fake nonsense but it is difficult to ignore GM who may or may not be highly autistic ( invented to escape being moved ? ) but he makes a great witness and is ultra plausible with some amazing hacked material..
