Why do dog noses have all those creases/wrinkles in them? I presume it's to increase the surface area available for evaporation, but I don't know. I know why they have slits, but not the creases.

their noses are specially designed to capture scent I imagine it has something to do with that. Or maybe to protect from frostbite.
