The United States has (had) an economy that dominated the world, the growth of the U.S. economy since 2008 is fairly remarkable just by itself. Somehow, being in this position all by itself was not enough for Trump. He must save the worlds strongest economy from itself. Or something.

You didn't have growth of your economy you had growth in debt. It's been a mirage. You have to borrow from the Chinese today. This doesn't make sense to any regular citizen on the street who has common sense so why does it not make sense for the elite?

Fareed is one of those guys who I wouldn't want in a foxhole beside me. He will shill for open borders and open theft of manufacturing production because he wrongly assumed that when China builds a center of military manufacturing that the West can't keep up with that somehow he will be saved since he was always a supporter of the above actions.
